Tulpa, a leading company in human-machine teaming, was honoured to participate in the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR)'s inaugural webinar on "AI and International Security" on April 16, 2024.

Our CEO delivered a talk on the potential of large language models (LLMs) in intelligence analysis, sharing insights from our cutting-edge work in this domain.

The webinar brought together experts from academia, industry, civil society, and intergovernmental organisations to examine the state of play of LLMs, their relevance to international security, and the path forward for the safe and responsible development of this transformative technology.

We were privileged to contribute to this important global discussion as the safe and responsible use of AI is a core principle that we were founded on. With the rapid progress in large language models and AI in general, we have an obligation to help shape the global governance frameworks that will guide the development of this technology. Collaborative forums like this UNIDIR webinar are essential for building common understanding and charting an ambitious yet responsible path forward.

Our interdisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and psychologists is dedicated to building advanced AI systems that operate transparently and maintain human accountability. As we continue to push the boundaries of what's possible with powerful AI capabilities, it's crucial that we openly share our experience and work together as an international community to mitigate risks and ensure this technology benefits humanity.

We will continue to actively engage with the international community and we remain committed to our mission of unlocking the vast potential of artificial intelligence to address complex challenges, while ensuring it is developed and deployed in a responsible and trustworthy manner.
