Our CEO's co-authored report on AI and Strategic Decision-Making

For the past year, our co-founder Rich Carter has been working with The Alan Turing Institute, as part of a research team behind a recently published report 'AI and Strategic Decision-Making'. This multidisciplinary team drawn from industry, academia, and government, developed (from the ground up) a tabletop exercise that re-created the conditions in which the most serious and critical national security decision-making takes place, so that we could engage with senior officials and how they responded to (fictitious) AI-enriched intelligence.

The UK's Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden commented in a Cabinet Office press release that, "We will carefully consider the findings of this report to inform national security decision makers to make the best use of AI in their work protecting the country".

Rich was instrumental in the design and execution of this research and which builds on our understanding in Tulpa on the system and product requirements for building trusted AI applications for high-stakes decisions.
